What is Sonic Bloom?

Sonic Bloom is a virtual fly simulator, where you can learn how to fly with the two controllers and have ability to check for safe landings, do different maneuvers. We hope to the users with no previous experience in flying and VR can easily get used to flying and have fun!

Gibbs Geng

Hello! I'm a 5th year master‘s student in computer science at UW. This is actually the first time playing around VR and I want to build something also for those new to it.

Roman Kudryashov

My name is Roman Kudryashov and I am a senior majoring in Computer Science. I enjoy gaming, but fairly new to the AR/VR space. I’m excited to learn more about implementing and designing VR experiences this quarter! I believe VR is the future of gaming, learning, and experiencing new things, and I’m excited learn more about it!

Jackie Shi

My name is Jackie Shi. I am a graduating senior double majoring in computer science and drama. I have always been having passion of playing and making games. I am very excited to learn about Unity and experiment gaming on VR!

John Kenji Rice

Hey! I’m John Rice, a senior majoring in computer engineering. I’ve enjoyed gaming my whole life, but have no experience developing games. I grew up flying remote control planes, and had loads of fun. I hope our project will bring a great amount of excitement to anyone who uses it.
