My name is Xijie Lin, I go by CJ. I am a BS/MS student majoring in Computer Science at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. I am a responsible, easy-going and humorous person. I am fluent in both Chinese and English. I am passionate about coding and I can code in many different languages such as Java, JavaScript, C and etc. In my free time, I like playing basketball and hiking.

Hi! I am a BS/MS student studying computer engineering, currently in my last quarter as an undergraduate. I enjoy learning about topics in machine learning, computer graphics, computer vision, and the intersection of these areas. Currently, I work on facial expressions research and image recognition at the Graphics and Imaging Laboratory here at the UW. Virtual and augmented reality has an immense amount of potential to transform our society -- so I’m excited to learn more about this field and to help create something amazing!

I am originally from Singapore and did 2 years in the army. At the age of 21 I came to Seattle, Washington for college and haven’t looked back since. I never took a Computing class until coming to UW and am very thankful to be a junior studying Computing Engineering. I am also minoring in Entrepreneurship and hope to graduate next Spring. Outside of school, I am very passionate about technology and Sports and would love to get to meet and know all of you!

I learned how to solve the rubrik’s cube over Spring break and have been dabbling into playing chess. Sports and technology are also things I can go on endlessly about! I am most excited to take this AR/VR Capstone course because I really enjoyed the Computer Vision class I took last quarter

I am a curious self-driven individual seeking ways to challenge and expand my problem-solving skills. As a senior majoring in computer engineering at the Paul Allen School in Computer Science and Engineering, I am taking a variety of CSE courses to improve my technical skills. I am excited for this AR/VR Capstone, and I can't wait to learn how to create a cool application that can positively make an impact on society!

Outside of school and work, you can find me at a cafe indulging on boba tea, hiking one of many Pacific Northwest Trails, or on the field playing ultimate frisbee.
